Matilde Tixier, Parisian Street Market

I saw this Bohemian Beauty from afar when I was at a street market in Paris this summer. I was stunned by her old timey look in the midst of her endless variety of stuff, jackets, head-wraps, collages, buttons. I began to sneak some pictures of her without her seeing. Finally I couldn't resist and I approached her and ended up purchasing two of her original collages, made from vintage black and white magazines. I loved every bit of character and style in her detail get-up and young but aged face. I talked her into letting me take some photos of her in the name of "art" and she agreed. This is my series of her. From all angles. Painted with acrylic abstracted background, and realistic oil in the figure.
