Haylee Ryan presents all new work based around “place” and “belonging.” She brings her casual candid beach bodies to curated desert environments. The slightly humorous juxtapositions beg the question of “do they belong, where are they from and where do they wish they were?” The variety of bodies and position of the figures also brings awareness of how we belong in our own bodies, regardless of where we are. Ryan is proud and excited to share the colors and compositions of these dreamy desert paintings.
